Hello everybody! My name is Valentina and today I'm going to talk about my plans after i finished my professional career. I'm in my forth year of socology and I would really like to continue studyng after that, because I like study, and I hope to learn different tools for the working world.  In this way, there is a new postgraduate degree in my faculty, in Chile, of public policy and I would like to take it soon after graduating. This postgraduate degree is a part-time course, whit a mixed modality, with face-yo-face classes and distance classes. I want to study that because I would like to work in public policies and I want to specialize me in this topic.  After that, I would like to get a scolarship for a maste or something like that in other country. Ideally in Europe, only because I would like live in there for a while. But, also I would like to study in other country of Latin America, because I excpet to work in Chile and de Latin America sociology is more accurate in man...

I really like my career, so if you ask me what kind of job I would like to have, I would say something related to sociology. I don’t want to work in a company that don’t care about the people or the environment, so if a could choose I would prefer a job in some non-governmental organization, because I want to do something for those who are oppressed or have social problems. Also, I want a job where I can travel a lot, because I love to travel so it would be a dream if I can do that for work. I don’t want to be settled down in a place, so keeping moving wouldn’t be a big problem. It would be really fun! I understand that the work field could be hostile to find a job, so to accomplish my dreams I want to continue studying, maybe do a magister or something like that. If I do that, my life would be easier. I don’t care about making a lot of money, all that I want is to have a steady job, something that helps me with my expenses. But my dream isn’t to be a millionair...

In these days is very hard to think what is going to be my life in ten years, considering that the world is very crazy right now. But I will try. First, I want to live in another city. I really would love live in Valdivia, because is a place with a lot of nature and an a very beautiful architecture. If I can’t live in Valdivia on those days, I would like live in any city of the south. I want to have a house with a big yard where I will sow a lot of fruits and vegetables. Also, I want to live with cats, because they are my favorite animal and I feel really well when I’m around them. Beside of the cats, I want to live with a lot of friends. It is not necessary to they to live in my own house but close to it, so I can visit them, and they can visit me. I also want to have a steady job, hopefully related to sociology. But the most important thing to me is to be happy, so I don’t care if I got all the things that I mentioned if I’m unhappy in the future.
